Goran Ivanisevic supports West Bromwich Albion

At LawSports, we utilise the personalities and interests of the people we are promoting to generate media coverage for our clients. Recently, we seized upon the interest of the ATP Champions Tour tennis player Goran Ivanisevic in the UK football team, West Bromwich Albion.

The story of a Wimbledon champion from Croatia supporting a modest British football team captured the imagination of the world’s media, and the story was covered by the Daily Telegraph, The Times, the People, the Independent, the Express and Star, the Birmingham Mail, BBC Sport Online, FourFourTwo magazine, a BBC Radio Five Live ’6-0-6 Football Phone-in’, Teamtalk.com and the official West Bromwich Albion website. The story also received coverage in Portuguese, Croatian and Dutch media, and appeared in the French football magazine ‘So Foot’.

We then used our television production skills and equipment to shoot the following video feature.

It attracted tens of thousands of viewers on the internet, and television coverage on BBC 1 Breakfast, ITV Central News, BBC Midland News and Setanta Sports News.
